Pomeroy West Indian The “Pomeroy West Indian” tarpon reel was made by Hardy Bros Alnwick from 1909 to 1913. This 5 1/8″ first model was made circa 1910. These reels were made out of gun-metal, with the star back and reel seat made from German silver. The star back was stamped the “Silex” Pomeroy West Indian
